Born to Jamaican parents in Brooklyn, New York City on August 1, 1974, Roger McNair aka US rapper Rampage has rolled with his cousin Busta Rhymes since the mid-1990s. McNair made his recording debut in 1992 with the single "Beware of the Rampsack", created with producer Dallas Austin for Rowdy / Arista Records, and in 1994 recorded "Flava in Ya Ear In (Remix") featuring an all-star rap lineup of Craig Mack, Notorious B.I.G., LL Cool J and Busta Rhymes. He appeared two years later on Rhymes' platinum single "Woo Hah!! Got You All in Check" and the following year inked a deal with Elektra Records for his debut solo album Scout's Honor... By Way of Blood, which yielded the Top 40 hit "Take It to the Streets". After taking a break from his solo career, McNair returned in 2006 with second album Have You Seen?, which was followed by 2013's Lieutenant on Deck. 2020 saw the release of the "#Selfie" single.
