Rebecca Frazier

Born Rebecca Hogan in Richmond, Virginia, in 1975, Rebecca Frazier plays banjo, mandolin, guitar and piano. In 2001, her debut album Born in East Virginia was released under her birth name. Guitarist and vocalist with the Colorado-based bluegrass band Hit and Run, she has toured extensively and released two acclaimed albums, Beauty Fades in 2004 and Without Maps or Charts in 2005. A musician renowned for her flatpicking, in 2004 she joined the all-female group The Daughters of Bluegrass, which produced two albums. Already in the spotlight of the specialist press, Rebecca Frazier is back on the cover of magazines with the release of her second solo album When We Fall (2013), which sees her move towards the Americana style. One of the most popular singers on the contemporary bluegrass scene returned solo in 2024 with the album Boarding Windows in Paradise.
