The Korean all-female super group Refund Sisters formed in 2020 when Lee Hyori, who had already established herself as a member of Fin.K.L and as a solo artist, mentioned an interest in forming a girl group with other K-pop idols like the rapper Jessi and former Mamamoo member Hwasa. Those two accepted the offer and all three joined forces with the beloved superstar Uhm Jung-hwa to form Refund Sisters. Like previous seasonal supergroup SSAK3, the group announced that all proceeds from the sale of their work would go to charity. They quickly headed into the studio and recorded their debut single, “Don’t Touch Me”, a danceable slice of girl-power attitude which hit number one on the Korean chart, and went top 10 on the US World chart, in October of 2020.
