Remy Shand is a Grammy-award nominated Canadian soul singer-songwriter who is known for his high-pitched vocal range. After beginning to write and record in 1998, Shand was picked up by the legendary Motown Records in 2001 and released his debut album 'The Way I Feel' the following year. The record was a critical and commercial success, seeing the Canadian win a Juno Award for R&B/Soul recording of the year in 2003 along with being nominated for four Grammy Awards in the same year. Announcing that he was in the process of recording a follow-up in 2003, this never materialised and Shand fell out of the public eye. He continues to write and perform independently after reappearing in 2013 with the release of single 'Springtime'. He has since released archive tracks, including an early version of the title track to his debut album.
