Restless Heart are a celebrated American country music band known for their heartfelt melodies and harmonies that have resonated with audiences since their formation in 1984. Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, the group initially consisted of keyboardist and lead vocalist Larry Stewart, guitarist and vocalist Dave Innis, bassist and vocalist Paul Gregg, and drummer and vocalist John Dittrich. Their sound, characterized by a blend of traditional country with a modern edge, quickly won them acclaim in the country music scene. Restless Heart’s self-titled debut album in 1985 marked the beginning of a successful career, featuring hit singles like "That Rock Won't Roll" and "I'll Still Be Loving You," which showcased their signature harmony-driven style. Over the years, they’ve earned numerous accolades, including an Academy of Country Music Award prize for Top Vocal Group of the Year in 1990 and Grammy nominations. Known for their poignant lyrics and smooth, melodic tunes, Restless Heart's discography includes beloved tracks such as "Why Does It Have to Be (Wrong or Right)," "Bluest Eyes in Texas," and "Wheels." Restless Heart went through various lineup changes and periods of hiatus before disbanding in 2021.
