Richard Bohringer

Richard Bohringer is one of France's most charismatic actors, whose career peaked in the 1980s. Fully embracing the image, even the cliché, of the "loudmouth" rebel, this free-spirited artist and traveler, a lover of jazz and the African continent, has led an interesting career as a writer alongside his film work. His bestseller C'est beau une ville la nuit, written in 1988, has given rise to various adaptations by Bohringer himself, including a homonymous album of jazz and blues songs, released in 2002.
