Riza Godoy, better known as RIZA, is a Filipino-Cuban R&B/Soul singer and songwriter from Broward County, Florida, whose unique blend of influences has made her a rising star in the music world. From a young age, she absorbed a wide range of sounds, drawing inspiration from genres like jazz, hip-hop, island music, and folk. With a sultry yet angelic voice, RIZA captivated listeners through emotional piano-driven performances and storytelling lyrics that explore themes of love, identity, and life’s contradictions. Her sound effortlessly weaves together elements of pop, jazz, and R&B, creating a rich tapestry of music that is at once simple and complex, sacred and sensual. RIZA’s journey in music has been marked by a dedication to exploring new sonic landscapes, always pushing the boundaries of her artistry. "En Otra Vida," her debut single, was released in 2022 and was followed by other singles such as "Miracle" (2022), "Y Se Va Se Va" (2022), and "Tatuaje" (2023). All these tracks were included in her debut EP Miracle, released by Universal Music Latino in 2023. The following year, RIZA collaborated with Mexican singer-songwriter Humbe on the single "ella brilla," a sultry track that combined Latin urban sounds, indie pop, and R&B.
