Rondé is a Dutch indie pop band from Utrecht, who rose to notoriety after winning the 3FM Serious Talent Award in 2015. The result of a school assignment, Rondé was formed in the spring of 2014 by a handful of students from the Herman Brood Academy. Composed of singer Rikki Borgelt, guitarist Armel Paap, drummer Isai Traveler, and bassist Cas Oomen, the group quickly established themselves as indie radio darlings with their 2014 debut single “Run,” which became a significant hit in the Netherlands and helped the band gain some much-needed recognition in the independent music scene. The following year, Rondé repeated the feat with their second single “We Are One” and earned the 3FM Serious Talent Award. Their self-titled studio debut arrived in 2017 and spawned the Top 40 hit single “Naturally.” In 2018, Rondé returned with a second full-length titled Flourish, cracking the Top 10 of the Dutch Album Top 100. Subsequently, the band delivered a consistent string of radio hits such as "Calling" (2018), "Be Mine" (2019), and "Get to You" (2020). In 2021, their single “Hard to Say Goodbye” peaked at Number 40 on the Dutch Singles Chart.
