Rounhaa, whose real name is Haarone Latif, is a Franco-Swiss rapper born in Lille in 2000. He spent his childhood in Lille before moving to Geneva as a teenager. His pseudonym is the verlan of his first name. While he pursued studies in applied arts, notably in haute couture, he nurtured a passion for music and recorded his first tracks in 2017. His first album, Multiver, was released in 2018, followed by Yeratik in 2019, the year he signed with the Believe Music label. In 2020, he unveils his third project, Horion, which consolidates his presence on the emerging rap scene. Two years later, he became the first signing to Sublime, the label founded by Disiz, and released Möbius, an album that blends hyperpop and alternative rap influences. The project includes collaborations with Gio, J9ueve and Khali. In 2024, Rounhaa released the album Jaafar, which reached number 8 in the French charts. This opus, marked by productions from LucasV and abel31, reflects his artistic evolution. He also contributed to the track Moonwalk, taken from Slimka's Le Grand Mystico. Rounhaa is considered a representative of the New Wave of French rap. His musical style combines electronic melodies, hyperpop influences and introspective writing.
