Rusted Root are an American pop rock band formed in Pittsburgh in 1990 by singer-guitarist Michael Glabicki, bassist Patrick Norman and drummer Liz Berlin. They played in local venues and released their debut album 'Cruel Sun' in 1992. Their 1994 album 'When I Woke' became a success and the track 'Send Me On My Way' went to number 72 on the Billboard Hot 100. Other recordings include 'Remember' (1996), 'Welcome to My Party' (2002), 'Stereo Romeo' (2009) and 'The Movement' (2012).
