Ryan Hurd

Ryan Hurd is an emerging talent on the US country scene who has been featured in Rolling Stone magazine's influential 'Artists You Need to Know' list. Prior to Hurd launching his solo career in 2017 the artist had already established himself as a successful songwriter having written the number one hit 'Lonely Tonight' recorded by Blake Shelton and Ashley Monroe in 2015. Hurd also wrote 'Last Turn Home', a ballad recorded by country superstar Tim McGraw and whilst writing the song he met his future wife Maren Morris, the Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter from Texas. Hurd was born in 1986 and grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan before moving to Nashville to pursue a career as a songwriter. His debut single 'Love in a Bar' was released in 2017 but achieved only modest chart success and it wasn't until his self-titled EP came out in 2017 that his fortune as a solo artist began to change. The song 'We Do Us' is the lead single from the EP.
