Sandy Ground Factory

Kuduro, a dance originating from Angola, has been heralded as the new sensation of summer 2009. Compilations are already pouring in and versions are piling up. Sandy Ground Factory has chosen the house option with "Move Ya Body" to get the "hard asses" dancing, kuduro coming from the Angolan Portuguese "cu "duro" meaning "hard ass". The project, initiated by DJ Xavier de Canter aka Tom Snare, finally reached No. 34 on the charts in summer 2009. " Saturday Think About the Way" in 2010 attempts to repeat a similar trick.
