Sasha Carassi is a Naples-born Italian house and techno producer known for his driving, atmospheric soundscapes. Beginning his career in the early 1990s, he honed his career as a teenage DJ in Naples before making the leap into production in the early 2000s, releasing his first album in 2002. He founded his Phobiq label in 2009 and his breakthrough year came in 2010 with releases (such as "Hypercombo") on several leading dance labels including Drumcode and Globox. His music has gained support from key figures in the scene, including Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, and Richie Hawtin, and has been a staple in the sets of techno DJs around the world. He has continued to put out stellar releases through the 2010s and 2020s, notching up a string of singles and EPs, often on his own Phobiq imprint. In 2023, he contributed the "Nexus 6" track to John Digweed's Futuro mix compilation and in 2024 he dropped the "Memoria" and "Self Confidence" singles along with several remixes, including Harry Kaze's "On My Lips."
