Saving Abel are an American hard rock band formed in Mississippi in 2004 by lead guitarist Jason Null; bassist Daniel Dwight, who left in 2007; drummer Blake Dixon, who left in 2011 and returned for one year in 2017; and singer Jared Weeks, who left in 2013. The current line-up features Null, singer Scott Austin, rhythm guitarist Scott Bartlett, bassist Scott Wilson and drummer Steven Pauley. Their 2008 debut recording 'Saving Abel' (2008) went to number four on Billboard's Hard Rock Albums Chart, reached number 14 on Billboard's Top Rock Albums Chart and number 49 on the Billboard 200. The track 'Addicted' peaked at number 20 on Billboard's Hot 100. 'Miss America' (2009) topped the Hard Rock Albums Chart, went to number four on the Top Rock Albums Chart and number 24 on the Billboard 200. 'Bringing Down the Giant' (2012) peaked at number 25 on the Top Rock Albums Chart and number 74 on the Billboard 200. They released an album titled 'Blood Stained Revolution' in 2014. Other singles include 'Drowning (Face Down)' (2009) and 'The Sex is Good' (2010), which both reached number ten on Billboard's Hot Rock Songs Chart. Their 2019-2020 schedule was to include appearances at venues in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Michigan, Wisconsin and Illinois.
