The German rapper and producer Summer Cem is behind the name of the hip-hop crew Scorpion Gang. The idea for Scorpion Gang dates back to 2013. However, it took until 2021 before the debut single "Weee" was released. It is the first single on Summer Cem's own record label with the name OG Scrpngang GmbH. The rapper chose this spelling to avoid a possible name dispute with the rock band Scorpions. Further singles follow with "Schütt Es Ein", "Flashbacks", "Friendships", "Dollars & Isyans" and "Time Out". The album Scorpion To Society is then released. At the end of the year, Scorpion Gang released the EP Rags To Riches and the single "Aventador".
