Seb la Frite

Real name Sébastien Anthony Frit, Seb la Frite was born on March 31, 1996 in Périgueux, Dordogne, France. Shortly after graduating from high school, he became a video artist with a strong following on social networks, thanks to his mainly humorous videos. In 2016, this hip-hop enthusiast published a web documentary entitled L'Histoire du rap. As well as racking up millions of views, this gave him the credibility to launch himself as a rapper, without abandoning his activities as a videographer. So, from 2017, he released a string of singles, such as "Égofrite", followed in 2018 by "Métamorphose", "Waw " and "Pas d'idée". In 2019, his musical activities took a back seat as he took part in a scientific expedition to an unexplored area of West Papua with several ornithologist and speleologist scientists, from which a documentary, La Vraie aventure, was made. 2021 saw the release of his first real mixtape, Crash Test (No. 24 in the SNEP chart). It includes the track "Prends d'la vitesse", for which he took part in a world premiere: a free-fall freestyle filmed as a video clip.
