Seefeel are a pioneering British electronic band known for their innovative fusion of ambient, shoegaze, and electronic music. Formed in 1992 in London, the band originally consisted of Mark Clifford (guitarist/programmer), Sarah Peacock (vocals/guitarist), and Justin Fletcher (drummer/programmer), with later additions including bassist Darren Seymour. Seefeel's sound is characterized by its ethereal textures, layered with drifting vocals and experimental beats, creating a sonic landscape that is both hypnotic and immersive. Their debut album, Quique (1993), garnered critical acclaim for its groundbreaking approach, blending lush, reverb-soaked guitars with intricate electronic rhythms. Following this, the band released several influential records, including Succour (1995) and Starethrough (1999), which further solidified their reputation in the ambient and electronic music scenes. Seefeel's work has been noted for its ability to bridge the gap between the organic and the synthetic, crafting a unique and influential sound that has inspired numerous artists across genres. Despite several lineup changes and going on hiatus in 1996, Seefeel returned to music in 2008 and have since released two more albums: 2011's self-titled offering and Everything Squared in 2024.
