Inspired by the Japanese term "Sensei", which means "the master", "the one who holds the knowledge", and above all by the manga Naruto, the young artist born in Melun in 1998 Seydou Cissé chose the stage name SenSey' when he took his first steps on the rap and urban scene. Like the manga character from which he drew his inspiration, he regularly sported a headband on his forehead in his early days. In his teens, he seemed ready to express his talent in soccer, but chose the musical path. In 2017, the success of tracks like "Sans elle" and "Avec moi", which went viral on the Internet, confirmed his choice. Two years later, backed by Melun-based label Jat Kiss 1510, he released his first mixtape, MCS, which included the track "C'est nous". In 2020, a year marked by Covid-19-related confinement, the rapper released the project, 1 Jour 1 Son, which included collaborations with Lyronn and Limo. Two years later, he released a new project, Perle Noire, featuring seven tracks, including "Flocon de neige" and "Confiance". In 2023, the singer followed up with Hokage, featuring collaborations with Ronisia on "Spéciale", MCBox on "JTM" and Bramsito on "OG " . The album reached number 64 in the French charts on its release. In 2024, "LV" ushered in a new cycle of singles, including the duets "Cadenas" with Malian kora player Sidiki Diabaté and "No Stress" with Franglish, until the release of the album Des Rires et des Pleurs, which reached 136th place in the French charts.
