Shaun Baker

Shaun Baker is a DJ from the north of England who settled in Germany in the mid-1980s and has been playing in clubs since 1986. He made his breakthrough in 2002 with the club hit "Explode", which reached number 61 in the German singles charts. Since 2005, he has been working permanently with producer Sebastian Wolter, with whom he also released "Xplode 2" in 2005. Baker's single "V.I.P." tops the annual charts in Poland and the Czech Republic in 2007, before the follow-up "Hey Hi Hello" reaches number 1 in the Polish radio and sales charts. This was followed by the album 1 ( 2007), which reached gold status shortly after its release. In May 2013, Shaun Baker launches the DF&S project together with Darius & Finlay. The first joint single "Bang Bang (Explode)", which they record with singer Ceresia and rapper Ron Carrol, enters both the German iTunes charts and the official singles charts. Over the next few years, further singles were released, albeit at irregular intervals. These included collaborations such as 2016's "Catch The Sunlight" (with Baker and Castle) and 2022's "Mein kleines Herz (Bam Bam)" (with Darius & Finlay and MartinBepunkt).
