Yumiko Shiina, who goes by the name Sheena Ringo, is a J-pop singer-songwriter and musician. She released her first single 'Kofukuron' in 1998 and her debut album 'Muzai Moratorium' with the track 'Marunouchi Sadistic' came out in 1999. Two more albums followed - 'Shoso Strip' (2000) and 'Kalk Samen Kuri No Hana' before she announced that she was leaving solo work to form a band. She formed Tokyo Jihen in 2003 and focused on them until 2012. She continued her solo work as well however, with album 'Sanmon Gossip' which she released in 2009. Her 2011 single 'Carnation' went to number five on Billboard's Japan Hot 100 as did 'Jiyu E Michizure' in 2012. The album 'Nagaku Mijikai Matsuri' came out in 2016. Her track 'Tokyo' hit number 51 on the Japan Hot 100 upon its release in 2019.
