Los Angeles hip hop group, Shoreline Mafia, first gained local popularity with their debut mixtape, ShorelineDoThatShit in 2017, featuring tracks like "Nun Major," "Musty," and "Bottle Service." In May 2018, Atlantic Records signed the group, re-releasing ShoreLineDoThatShit and debuting a new music video for "Musty." They released a four-track EP titled Party Pack in August 2018, followed by Party Pack Vol. 2 in September 2019. Their debut studio album, Mafia Bidness (2020), peaked at number 27 on the Billboard 200, however in April 2020, founding member Fenix Flexin announced his departure, leading to the group's disbandment. In May 2024, members OhGeesy and Fenix Flexin reunited and released "Heat Stick" under the Shoreline Mafia name, marking the group's return as a duo. The song entered the Billboard Top 100, the US R&B/Hip Hop charts, and peaked at number 22 in New Zealand.
