The Portuguese trap artist André Rocha Vaz (April 19, 1996) is best known by his stage name Sippinpurpp. Hailing from the city of Ovar, he began making music in 2017 when he shared his first track "No Meu Copo." His career took off in 2018 after signing to Think Music Records and being featured on the Mike El Nite song "Dr. Bayard." The song was heavily promoted through social media eventually accruing more than 3 million hits on video-streaming sites and launching the young rapper as an up-and-coming future hip-hop star. Later that year, SippinPurpp released "Sauce," his debut single for the label and it became a huge success throughout Portugal when it entered the Top 10 and remained in the Portuguese charts for 15 weeks. The single went on to be certified platinum and was included in his debut EP 3880, released in late 2019. The EP also featured the tracks "Never Walk Alone" and "Havana," which achieved gold sales. After a one-year absence following the release of his gold-selling single "1000 Jogos" (2020), SippinPurpp cracked the Portuguese Top 5 in early 2022 with the song "Fato Treino do City."
