Slaughterhouse features Crooked I, Joell Ortiz, Royce Da 5'9'' and Joe Budden, who were originally brought together on the latter's 2008 mixtape. But things took a turn for the better, and the four fantastic rappers began work on a full-length album, releasing Slaughterhouse in 2009. Taking advantage of the end of Eminem's feud with Royce Da 5'9'', the group was signed to Shady Records, and benefited from the luxury production of their second album, Welcome to: Our House, released on August 28, 2012. The commercial success is matched by the fame of their producer, The real Slim Shady, who produces and mixes the album himself.
