Sotiria Schenk, born on January 1, 1987, became known primarily as the lead singer of the band Eisblume before embarking on her solo career as Sotiria. She began singing and playing the piano at the age of eight and sang the theme song "Mädchen müssen härter sein" for the movie Mädchen, Mädchen at the age of 14. in 2007, she founded the band Eisblume, with whom she performed as the opening act for Ich + Ich and released one EP and two albums, which were commercially successful. The single "Eisblumen" reached number 3 in the German singles charts in 2009. The band broke up in 2013 and Sotiria released her debut album Hallo Leben in 2018 in collaboration with Bernd Graf of the group Unheilig. in 2020, she sang an Italian version of the Unheilig hit "Geboren um zu leben" . 2021 saw the release of the second album Mein Herz and the single of the same name.
