Stuck in the Sound

Formed in 2002, Parisian band Stuck In The Sound first came to prominence through Les Inrockuptibles' CQFD competition. The band's members were José Reis Fontao (guitar, vocals), Emmanuel Barichasse (guitar), Arno Bordas (bass) and François Ernie (drums). Their first two albums, Nevermind the Living Dead (2006) and Shoegazing Kids (2009), were influenced by American indie rock. In 2012, the band integrated their sound engineer Romain Della Valle (piano, guitar) as a permanent member and recorded their third album Pursuit in their new studio in Montreuil. It was followed in 2016 by Survivor and the single "Pop pop pop".
