Very little is known about Norwegian EDM and electropop duo Subwoolfer besides the fact that they conceal their identities behind distinctive yellow wolf-head masks. Formed in 2021 by singers "Keith" and "Jim" and producer "DJ Astronaut," whose real names have not been revealed as of yet, the group was chosen to represent Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest after winning the Melodi Grand Prix 2022 with their single "Give That Wolf a Banana." Originally released in January 2022, the track reached Number 4 on the Norwegian charts and took seventh place in Eurovision in May of that year. A special Valentine's Day version of the song titled "Give That Wolf a Romantic Banana" was also released a few months before the competition. Since its official release, "Give That Wolf a Banana" has accumulated over 11 million plays on streaming services.
