Super Junior-T (Super Junior-Trot) is a South Korean boy band sub-unit of the bigger leading group Super Junior, formed by SM Entertainment in 2005. The "T" in their name stands for "Trot," a ubiquitous genre of Korean pop music known for its catchy rhythms and melodies, often associated with an older generation. Comprising members Leeteuk (leader), Heechul, Kangin, Shindong, Sungmin, and Eunhyuk, Super Junior-T made themselves known in February 2007 and set about putting a modern twist on trot with their hit debut single "Rokkugo," which is "gokkuro" (거꾸로) spelt backwards, a term meaning "backwards" or "opposite". However, the group were forced to put their activities on hold after Leeteuk, Shindong, and Eunhyuk were injured in a car accident. They re-released "Rokkugo" in 2008 as "ROCK&GO," which peaked at number two on the Oricon Daily Charts. They re-emerged in 2015 with the Devil album for SM Entertainment, which marked the group's 10th anniversary.
