Superbus

French rock bands that manage to break through to the mainstream can be counted on the fingers of one hand, and Superbus seems to be one of them, its fame extending beyond national borders. Led by bubbly singer Jennifer Ayache and solid musicians, the bubble-gum pop-rock outfit have been collecting gold discs and awards since their debut album Aéromusical (2002). Subsequent albums Pop N'Gum (2004), Wow (2006) and Lova Lova (2010) confirm the rock quintet's good health, and in 2012 they celebrate ten years of recording activity with the release of Sunset. It took four years, however, before the band resurfaced with Sixtape. That's how long it took each of the members to pursue their own parallel activities, and Jennifer Ayache in particular to release her first solo album, +001.
