Swollen Members, a Canadian hip-hop group founded in 1995 in Vancouver, British Columbia, quickly emerged as a significant force in the underground hip hop scene. Comprised of members Mad Child, Prevail, and Rob the Viking, the group is renowned for their intricate lyrics, unique beats, and contributions to the genre of hip hop. They gained widespread acclaim with the release of their debut album Balance in 1999, followed by several other influential albums such as Bad Dreams in 2001 and Black Magic in 2006. Their track "Fuel Injected" from the album Bad Dreams and "Watch This" from Heavy (2003) stand out as some of their most popular hits. Swollen Members have been honored with numerous awards, including four Juno Awards for Rap Recording of the Year and several Western Canadian Music Awards.
