Saxophonist, clarinettist and flautist Sylvain Beuf has distinguished himself as accompanist to André Ceccarelli and François Moutin, and at the head of several groups, from quintet to trio. This Django d'or, Django-Reinhardt and Victoire de la Musique award-winning composer has produced some twenty albums since Impro Primo in 1994. Compared to American heavyweights in his early days, he has built up a unique style with albums such as Soul Notes (2001), Octovoice (2004) and Mondes Parallèles (2007). In 2010, Sylvain Beuf inaugurates his New Sextet with the album Joy, and in 2012, the eclectic saxophonist returns to his youthful emojis in Electric Excentric.
