Born Taylor Noelle Watson on 6 April 1993 in Tyler, Texas, and raised in the small town of Athens, US trap-minded rapper Tay Money started out working as a hairdresser in Dallas—where she moved to start a rap career in 2015—before bagging a viral hit in 2018 with "Trapper's Delight". She also released The Lost Tapes compilation and the DUH! EP that same year before dropping her official debut full-length in 2019 with Hurricane Tay—which featured guest appearances by DaBaby on "Booty" and YNW Melly on "Left Cheek, Right Cheek"—and following it up with 2020's Blockedt. Collaborations with Flo Milli (2021's "Asthma Pump") and Saucy Santana (2022's "Hello") have since followed, while her third full-length also landed in 2022, Girls Gone Duh, containing the aforementioned collaborative singles and others.
