The eldest son of Bobby McFerrin, multi-instrumentalist, producer and vocalist Taylor McFerrin is more interested in electronic soul than jazz. In 2006, the beatboxer released his first EP, Broken Vibes. After a few collaborations with English rapper Ty and singer José James, he turned his attention to recording his debut album. Early Riser, released in 2014, features a host of guests including Nai Palm, Emily King, Robert Glasper & Thundercat, César Camargo Mariano and his father.
