A lyric from Teen Top's "HWEEK" tells you exactly what they're about: "'Cause we are young, we're having fun," they sing on the opening to their 2023 EP 4SHO, proudly stating their intentions. The four-person South Korean boy band comprising Chunji, Niel, Ricky and Changjo started out as a six-piece group, formed by TOP Media in 2010, but became four when original member L.Joe filed for contract termination in February 2017, and former leader C.A.P. left the group in May 2023. The group stepped out with their shining first single, "Come into the World," in July 2010 and the following year were crowned Best Male Group at the MTV Music Awards. They spent the next decade fortifying their place at the top table at K-pop stardom with their second mini album It's named Single Album of the Year at the Golden Disk Awards 2013 and albums like their best-selling debut No.1 of 2013 and its 2017 successor High Five, the first release recorded following the departure of L.Joe. Their ninth EP DEAR. N9NE was issued in 2019 and they commemorated their 10th anniversary in 2020 with a new version of "To You." Following a rocky few years marked out by personnel changes and COVID-19, the group announced their comeback in 2023 with new album 4SHO.
