Théophile Grandadam was born on May 1, 1996 in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, Val-de-Marne. He entered the French rap scene in 2013, under the pseudonym Tengo John. From the outset, he distinguished himself by his skilful blending of genres, offering an aesthetic rap colored by Latin and Mediterranean influences and strongly influenced by Japanese manga culture. He also established himself as a hard worker, relentlessly releasing new projects. The Multicolore mixtape, featuring eighteen tracks including the melancholy "Près Qu'elle" and the addictive "Tortue de Jade", was a major hit. The rapper reached the fullness of his songwriting on the Hyakutake EP, released at the end of 2018. Temporada follows in early 2020 with a series of 19 incisive new tracks, including the singles "Téléporter" and "Tornade".
