The Adventures of Stevie V is a short-lived British band, best known for the 1990 hit "Dirty Cash (Money Talks)". English producer Stevie Vincent made his name with the funk band Touchdown, before forming the trio Adventures of Stevie V in 1989, with vocalists Melody Washington and Mick Walsh. At the height of the hip-house craze, the track "Dirty Cash (Money Talks)" rocketed up the charts worldwide in late 1989 and the following year, reaching #2 in the UK, #1 on the US dance charts and #25 on the Billboard Hot 100. It spawned several remixes and EPs, leading to the success of the album Adventures of Stevie V (1990) and three other singles, "Body Language", "Jealousy " and "That's the Way It Is". Three years later, the producer was back in the spotlight with the album Satisfy Me, featuring the singles "Push 2 the Limit" and "Paradise", but failed to reach the charts. In 1997 and again in 2010, "Dirty Cash (Money Talks) " was re-released with remixes by Alan Fitzpatrick, Todd Terry, David Morales and Rhythm Masters.
