The Cheetah Girls, a Disney-created pop girl group, was formed in 2002 as part of a television movie based on Deborah Gregory's book series. Originally comprised of Raven-Symoné, Adrienne Bailon, Kiely Williams, and Sabrina Bryan, the group gained significant attention after their film's release. Following Raven-Symoné's departure, The Cheetah Girls released their debut album in 2005, featuring holiday music and original songs. In 2006, the girls began working on their first studio album while filming "The Cheetah Girls 2" in Barcelona, Spain. However, the release of the album was postponed, and it was ultimately released in September 2007 as TCG, with the single "So Bring It On". The group's final movie, "The Cheetah Girls: One World", aired in August 2008, featuring only Bailon, Williams, and Bryan. A tour followed, but by late December 2008, The Cheetah Girls disbanded due to the rise of new Disney franchises.
