This vocal group, combining tenors and baritones, sometimes a capella, had a big hit in 1956: "Oh What A Night". Since then, in a career spanning more than thirty years, the Dells have never reached the top of the American variety charts. Their relative notoriety, however, enabled them to tour in the 60s, alongside such greats as Dinah Washington and Ray Charles.
