The Disco Boys

The brilliant Hamburg DJ duo The Disco Boys - Raphael Krickow and Gordon Hollenga - have been around since 1995. Initially, the musicians limited themselves to live performances and only released their first track in 2001 with the cover version of "Born to Be Alive". This debut single made it to number 62 in the German charts. in 2004, "For You", which is based on a sample from Manfred Mann's Earth Band, goes platinum in Germany and reaches number 17 in the charts. The Disco Boys release a numbered album every year, starting with Volume 1 in 2001, with Volume 10 (2010) achieving particularly high chart positions: "Hey, St. Peter" (2006), which enters at number 28, "What You Want" (2007) at number 58 and "I Surrender" (2010), number 28, for example, are all on the album. With "Around the World" from Volume 12, the two announced their return in 2012. The single reached number 31 in the German charts. This was followed by "Watch Out (Remixes)" (2014), "Taxi Nach Paris" (2015) and the EP For You (2021).
