The Meteors

Psychobilly trailblazers the Meteors were formed in London in 1980 by P. Paul Fenech (guitar and vocals), Nigel Lewis (upright bass/electric bass and vocals), and Mark Robertson (drums) and notched and have enjoyed a career spanning over four decades. They released their debut LP for Island Records, In Heaven, in 1981 and turned in a prolific number of celebrated albums from 1983's Wreckin' Crew" to 1984's Stampede and 1989's Madman Roll, whipping up classic songs like "Johnny Remember Me" and "Go Buddy Go" along the way. In 2024, the band released their new 14-track album 40 Days a Rotting.
