The Wedding Present is one of the most commendable bands to emerge from the British alternative rock scene in the last 30 years. Thanks to albums such as Watusi (1994) and Take Fountain (2005), the band led by David Gedge is one of the most worthy successors of a whole era between British indie rock (The Smiths) and refined pop... After a thirty-year career, the band seems more solid than ever, having reformed over a decade ago and still managing to be inventive with their ninth album, Going, Going...., a project combining music and video.
