Tiana Major9, born Tiana Thomas-Ambersley on November 22, 1995, is a British singer-songwriter from London, England. Growing up in a Jamaican household, she was exposed to gospel music in church from a young age and began singing at the age of five. She later studied music at City and Islington College before pursuing a career in the industry, gaining recognition as a finalist in MOBO's UnSung competition in 2014. She released a series of successful singles, including "Merry Go," "Levee (Let It Break)," and "Mr. Mysterious," between 2017 and 2018, with her debut EP, Rehearsal @ NINE released on January 25, 2019. In 2019, Tiana Major9 appeared on the soundtrack to the film Queen & Slim with the song "Collide," which peaked at number 9, earning her a Grammy nomination and winning the award for Outstanding Original Song at the 2020 Black Reel Awards. She released her debut album, At Sixes and Sevens, on August 7, 2020, after signing with Motown Records. She followed this with Major Mantras in 2021 with remix album, At Sixes and Sevens Remixed appearing later that same year. In 2023, she collaborated with UK singer-songwriter Saint Harison on “Homies”, released on February 8.
