Tito Puente

Percussionist, vibraphonist and king of the mambo, Tito Puente (1923-2000) made a major contribution to the spread of hot music, particularly in the United States. A prolific artist and musical jack-of-all-trades, he left the music world a legacy of some one hundred albums covering all Caribbean styles.
