T-Jy

T-Jy, an artist of Martinican origin, is deeply influenced by Caribbean music, notably zouk, reggae and dancehall. He began writing and recording his first songs at the age of 13. His career began with the group Brutal Mc, formed with friends who shared the same passion. Thanks to DJ Jairo, their tracks were played on a radio station specializing in Caribbean music, giving T-Jy his first exposure. In 2006, he made a name for himself with the track"Ratataboy", which brought him on stage for the first time. After a hiatus, he returned in 2015 with the single"#ÇaPique", a track in French that met with widespread success, racking up over 8 million views on YouTube and more than 10 million streams, which opened the doors to numerous stages in France. He returned to success in 2018 when he released another track in French entitled Qi, but it's in a dancehall shatta spirit totally in Creole that T-Jy prefers to develop the following years with tracks like Sekkle Down or Coco Létan Zabrico.
