Sarah Beth Tomberlin, born on April 6, 1995 in Jacksonville, Florida, is an American singer-songwriter in the indie-folk and pop-rock genres. Growing up as the daughter of a Baptist preacher, she moved several times before her family settled in Fairfield, Illinois. She graduated from high school at 16 and began writing songs for her first album. in 2018, she released her debut album At Weddings, which was well received by critics. This was followed by the EP Projections in 2020 and her second studio album I don't know who needs to hear this... in April 2022, which also met with a positive response. Tomberlin currently lives in Brooklyn, New York, and performs regularly, including opening for Angel Olsen during her Big Time Tour in Europe in 2022. In fall 2024, after a short break, Tomberlin released the single "Cowgirl" together with singer Cutouts.
