Transglobal Underground (TGU to their friends), a London collective with a highly variable line-up, made a name for themselves thanks to their skilful blend of electronica, dub, house and oriental music. From the aptly-named Dreams of 100 Nations, in 1993, the group has continued to compose and record albums of varying quality, all followed by a hard core of long-time admirers, including the celebrated singer Natacha Atlas. Their latest, The Stone Turntable (2011), combines all the eclectic, spicy ingredients of Transglobal Underground.
