Travie McCoy is an American rapper and singer who played drums at high school in upstate New York and had stints performing with school friend Matt McKinley and the group Gym Class Heroes. He went solo in 2010 and that year 'Billionaire' featuring Bruno Mars reached number nine on Billboard's Hot Rap Songs Chart. His album 'Lazarus' (2010) went to number 25 on the Billboard 200. He featured with Kylie Minogue on Taio Cruz's 'Higher' which topped Billboard's Dance Club Songs Chart in 2011 and he featured on Stooshe's 2012 track 'Love Me' which went to number five on the UK Singles Chart. His single 'Rough Water' featuring Jason Mark went to number 20 on the Rap Chart in 2013 and he featured on Olly Murs' 'Wrapped Up' which peaked at number three in the UK in 2014. He released single 'Golden' featuring Sia in 2015. Suffering with health issues, McCoy largely disappeared from the public eye in 2017.
