Formed in 2021 in Seoul, South Korean, TRI.BE is a K-pop girl group featuring the mononymous vocalists Songsun, Kelly, Jinha, Hyunbin, Jia, Soeun, and Mire. Songsun and Hyunbin both performed in the short-lived girl group Banana Culture New Kid before joining TRI.BE, while Kelly had previously competed in the Chinese reality show Youth With You 2. Signed by Universal Music, TRI.BE began working with producers Shinsadong Tiger and EXID's LE on the group's debut single, "Doom Doom Ta," which was released as part of the single album Tri.be Da Loca in February 2021. A follow-up single album, Conmigo, appeared in May 2021 and charted at Number 25 on the GAON Music Chart, with "Rub-A-Dum" serving as the lead single. During the year's latter final stretch, TRI.BE returned with a proper EP, Veni Vidi Vici, which featured the radio hit "Would You Run." The EP charted at Number 14 in South Korea, and TRI.BE's rising popularity resulted in nominations at the Brand of the Year Awards (where they were nominated for "Female Rookie Idol Award") and the Asia Artist Awards (where they were nominated for "Female Idol Group Popularity Award"). Diamond, the group's fourth album, was released in 2024, reaching number 26 in South Korea.
