Triple S is a South Korean girl group, known for their unique fan-participating system, which allows their members to rotate between main group, sub-unit and solo activities chosen exclusively by their fanbase. The group debuted in May 2022, introducing 12 of their 24 members over the following 9 months, including Yoon Seo-yeon, Jeong Hye-rin, Lee Ji-woo, Kim Chae-yeon, Kim Yoo-yeon, Kim Soo-min, Kim Na-kyoung, Gong Yu-bin, Kaede, Seo Da-hyun, Kotone, and Kwak Yeon-ji, many of which were already involved in the entertainment industry before joining. Triple S communicates with their fans through various channels, including the virtual world blockchain game The Sandbox, where fans can collect NFTs and other digital collectible items. Their first sub-unit, Acid Angel from Asia (AAA), debuted on October 22, 2022, with the single "Generation," achieving limited commercial success in Korea, yet gaining traction in New Zealand, reaching number 34 on the Top 40 Singles chart. Their debut EP Access was released six days later, peaking at number 9 in their home country. On February 13, 2023, the 10 members of Triple S released their debut EP Assemble which featured lead single "Rising" which attracted over 14-million views in its first week, earning them a nomination for Female Rookie of the Year at the 2023 Hanteo Music Awards. By April 2024, the group had expanded to its full complement of members which were distributed among further sub-units +(Kr)ystal Eyes, Acid Eyes, Aria, NXT, Lovelution, Evolution and Glow, releasing their debut album Assemble24 in May, which shot to number 3 on the Korean charts.
