Trouble Maker

Trouble Maker (Korean: 트러블 메이커) was a South Korean co-ed duo formed by Cube Entertainment in 2011, consisting of Hyunseung (former member of BEAST) and Hyuna (former member of 4Minute and Wonder Girls). Known for their bold and provocative concepts, the duo quickly gained attention for their sultry performances and chart-topping hits. Trouble Maker debuted on December 1, 2011, with their self-titled mini-album and the hit single "Trouble Maker." Their debut performance at the 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards featured a sensational kiss, sparking widespread media coverage. The track achieved critical and commercial success, earning the duo multiple awards, including a triple crown on M! Countdown. Their choreography, initially deemed too provocative, was adjusted during promotions due to public criticism. In 2013, Trouble Maker returned with their second EP, Chemistry, and the single "Now (There Is No Tomorrow)." The music video, inspired by Bonnie and Clyde, was praised for its storytelling and achieved a perfect score on Inkigayo. Despite their success, the duo’s activities ceased after Hyuna’s departure from Cube Entertainment in 2018 and Hyunseung’s in 2021.
