U.S.A. for Africa

As its name suggests, USA for Africa (United Support of Artists for Africa) is a collective of some forty artists united to counter famine in Ethiopia. One record, the multi-platinum "We Are the World " in 1985, symbolizes what remains the largest humanitarian aid effort by artists.
